Cycle Ally

Terms of Use

Effective 22 September 2026. By using Cycle Ally you accept these terms. They are written to be read; nothing here is hidden in a longer document somewhere else.

1. What this app is

Cycle Ally is a personal log. You write down what happens, and it shows you what you wrote and counts it. That is the whole of it.

It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Not for contraception. Talk to your clinician before making health decisions.

Nothing the app shows is a medical opinion, and it never tells you that something about your body is right or wrong. The summary it makes is a summary of your own entries, for you to discuss with a clinician who can put it in context. If you have a medical concern, speak to a clinician; in an emergency, call your local emergency number.

2. Who may use it

The app is rated 13 and up. If you are under 18, please use it with the knowledge of a parent or guardian.

3. Your entries are yours

Everything you log belongs to you. It stays on your iPhone; we do not receive it and claim no rights over it. You can export it or delete all of it at any time, and deleting it is immediate and permanent — we cannot restore it for you, because we never had it.

4. Your backup password

The backup file is encrypted with a password you choose. We never see it, it is not stored anywhere, and there is no recovery. If you lose the password, the file cannot be opened by us or by anyone else. Keep it somewhere safe.

5. Cycle Ally Plus

The app is free to use. Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription: $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year, with the first 7 days free on the yearly plan. Prices are in US dollars and may differ in your region; the exact price and period are shown before you buy.

If Plus ends, nothing you logged is deleted or hidden. What closes is the extra reading of it: summaries for spans longer than three months, lab charts over time, comparisons for medications other than your latest, and the photo diary. All of it opens again if Plus is active again.

6. What you agree not to do

Do not try to break, decompile or resell the app, and do not use it to store anything unlawful. That is the entire list.

7. Availability and changes

The app runs on your device and keeps working without us — there is no service to go down. We may change or stop offering features in future versions, and we may stop selling Plus; if we ever do, your entries stay on your phone and every free feature keeps working, including the export and the backup.

8. Liability

The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it, including decisions taken on the basis of what it shows you — it shows you your own entries, and the medical judgement belongs to you and your clinician. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer under the law of your country.

9. Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for the app or its contents. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine, where the developer lives and works, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live. Those rules apply to you whatever this section says.

11. Changes to these terms

If they change, the new effective date appears at the top of this page and the change is announced in the app before it takes effect.
