Cycle Ally guide
Cycle Ally is a log for PCOS and PMOS. You write down what happens; it counts what you wrote and turns it into a few pages you can hand to a clinician. This guide covers every screen and every task in the app.
It is written to be read when you are already stuck. Each page answers one question, starts with the answer, and does not need the page before it.
Start here
- What Cycle Ally is — and what it deliberately is not.
- Your first week — what to do on day one, and what can wait.
- Bring your history with you — from Apple Health.
The things people look up most
- Mark a period — started, ended, or one you forgot.
- Fix a day you got wrong — every entry can be changed or removed.
- Make a summary for your clinician — three months on a few pages, as a PDF.
- Add a medication and mark a dose.
- Taking a break — stop logging without losing anything.
- Delete everything — immediately and permanently, from your phone.
About the badges
A feature marked Plus needs Cycle Ally Plus, the optional subscription. Everything else is free and stays free: every entry you make, the calendar, medications, visits, lab results, the summary for your clinician, the timeline, the backup file and the spreadsheet export. Some parts inside those — lab results printed in the summary, a twelve-month timeline in it — need Plus, and each page says so where it comes up.
Cycle Ally is a personal log. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Not for contraception. Talk to your clinician before making health decisions.
