Periods brought on by a medicine
Mark such a bleed Started by a medicine when you add it — open a day inside the period and switch it on at the foot of the Bleeding section. Then decide one thing, once: whether those bleeds start a cycle for you.
Why the app asks instead of deciding
Because both answers are defensible and the difference is large. If a progestin course brings on a bleed, counting it as a cycle start gives you a 44-day cycle; not counting it gives you a 150-day gap between two natural ones. Which is true depends on what you are asking, and it is your log.
So the first time it matters, the app asks. Your answer is kept, applied to your whole history, and can be changed at any time in Settings → What you see → Sections, cards and counting → Counting.
Switching the answer
Change it and every number moves with it: your range, your middle value, the day counter on Today, the summary. Nothing is deleted either way — both bleeds stay in your calendar and in your log, and the label stays on them.
The cycle after a course
Often it is not your usual one. Open it and mark it Not typical and pick a reason from the six offered. It stays visible and drops out of the range and the average.
