The week before your period
Open Trends → Symptoms → Details, tap a symptom, and its cycle map opens on its own screen. At the top of that screen sits a two-way picker: From day 1 or Before next period. The second lines up the last days of each cycle on top of each other and counts what you logged there.
Why counting from day 1 does not work
With cycles of 31 and 52 days, “the week before my period” lands on cycle day 24 one month and day 45 the next. Counted from day 1 those days smear across the chart until the pattern disappears. Counted backwards from the next period, they land on top of each other.
This is the view that makes a long, uneven cycle readable — which is the whole reason this app exists.
Reading it
“Cramps logged on 30 of 84 logged days in the 14 days before a period, across 6 cycles.” The days are the last fourteen of each completed cycle; the denominator is the days inside them that you logged.
A cycle still running is not included — its last days have not happened yet. Cycles interrupted by a state are not included either.
What it needs
At least two completed cycles whose final fourteen days can be counted. Below that the Line up picker is simply not drawn — the app says nothing rather than making a chart out of one cycle.
