Photo diary Plus

Care → Photo diary. Photographs of the things that change too slowly to remember: skin, jawline, scalp, body hair. In the summary the same thing is called Skin and hair photos.

How it works

Pick the area — Face, Chin and jaw, Neck, Chest, Abdomen, Back, Scalp and hairline, Somewhere else — take or choose a photo, and add a note if you want. The date comes from the day you file it under, not from the file.

Tap one and you can swipe through every photo of that area without leaving the gallery, each labelled with its area and date. The app never renames your photographs and never shows you a file name.

Where the photos live

In the app's own storage on your iPhone, not in your camera roll, and not anywhere of ours. They go into the backup file only when you include attachments, and they are deleted with everything else by Delete all data.

In the summary Plus

If you ask for it — and you have to ask each time — the summary can carry the earliest and most recent photo of each area, side by side, with the number of days between them. It is off by default and never remembered: a photograph of a body in a file that leaves your phone is a different order of decision from a table of cycle lengths.

What the app never does with them

No rating, no scoring, no “improvement” line, no comparison with anybody. It keeps them in order and tells you how far apart they are.
