Long cycles and long gaps
Nothing in this app treats a long cycle as a problem. A 24-day cycle and a 94-day cycle are both a number of days, counted the same way and shown the same way.
What you will see
- On Today: “Day 78”, and under it “Since 13 Jun”. A plain count from your last period, however long it runs, and the line “Your cycles: 31–94 days · last 5”.
- On Trends: the same range as a headline — “31–94 days · median 44 days” — with a bar per cycle, and the count below the chart.
- Nothing that counts down and nothing that turns a colour. Once a cycle runs past every one you have finished, the card asks a plain question — “Has your period started?” — with two buttons and no opinion.
A gap of several months
Keep logging what you notice — symptoms, mood, medications. Those days are not wasted: they are what makes the before and after of a medication readable later, and they fill the summary you hand over.
If you would rather not think about it for a while, use a break instead of simply stopping — the app then knows the silence was deliberate.
An ongoing gap never moves your numbers
Your range and your middle value are built from completed cycles only. A cycle you are in the middle of, however long, is not counted — so waiting never quietly reshapes your own history.
When the forecast disappears
If you switched the forecast on, it shows a range built from your recent cycles. Once you pass your own longest, it stops showing rather than keeps guessing. That is deliberate: a guess that has already been wrong is not worth showing.
No periods at all, for now
If periods have stopped — after surgery, at 40-plus, or for a reason you already know — turn on No periods right now in Right now. Cycle numbers step back, and the days since your last period stay a plain fact you can read out.
