How often a symptom shows up
The Symptoms card on Trends counts each symptom over the last 90 days, always against the days you actually logged. Details opens the same rows with a span picker: 30 or 90 days, and six or twelve months with Plus. Tapping a symptom there opens its cycle map instead.
Reading a row
“Acne · 21 of 69 logged days”, and under the card “Last 90 days. 21 days not logged in this time.”
- 21 — days you rated it above None.
- 69 — days you said anything about symptoms at all. This is the denominator, and it is never the number of days in the window.
- 21 not logged — days you did not say. They are named, not hidden and not counted as “no”.
The severity bar
Each row can be drawn as three stacked steps — how many of those days were mild, moderate and severe. The steps are three shades of the same colour, lightest first, in a fixed order, and the numbers are read out in full by VoiceOver.
Number trackers
A tracker you answer with a number gets its own line instead: how many days have a number, and from where to where. No average and no “usual” — the range is what your numbers say, nothing more.
Anxiety
Counted separately, over the days you rated anxiety, because a day with symptoms and no anxiety answer is not a day without anxiety.
Longer than 90 days Plus
The free app counts 30 and 90 days. With Plus the same rows can be counted over six and twelve months, which is the span that makes a seasonal pattern visible at all.
