Make a summary for your clinician

Care → Summary for your clinician, choose what goes in, and tap Create summary. It takes a few seconds and produces a file you can print, email or hand over on the screen.

What you choose

  • Time span. Three chips: 3 months free, and 6 or 12 months with Plus. There is no arbitrary date range.
  • What's in this file: Questions for your next visit, Cycles, Symptoms, Medications and supplements, States, Earlier visits — and Trying to conceive when you have that turned on.
  • Lab results Plus.
  • Notes — off by default. Your notes are the most private thing in the app, so they go in only when you say so, for that one file.
  • Daily log — off by default: every logged day as a line, at the end. Useful when a clinician asks for detail, long when they do not.
  • Skin and hair photos Plus — off every time you open the screen, and the switch only appears once the diary holds more than one photograph.

Your choices are remembered between visits, except the photographs: that one starts off again each time.

What comes out

A US Letter PDF, in English, at a fixed text size so it prints the same everywhere. Page one reads in thirty seconds; the rest is detail. See what is in it.

The file itself

It is kept in the app's own storage and listed under Made earlier, so you can hand the same file over twice; delete it there when you are done. The name carries the app and the date — “Cycle Ally summary 2026-09-22.pdf” — and nothing about PCOS, your medications or you, because file names show up in places you did not choose.

Where it goes

Wherever you send it. Once it leaves your phone it lives by the rules of the place you sent it to, not ours.
