Check-ups
Care → Check-ups. Three long-interval checks that the 2023 international guideline describes for PCOS: Glucose, Blood pressure, and Cholesterol and triglycerides.
What the app does
Holds the date you last had one and the interval you chose, and — if you ask it to — reminds you when that interval runs out. Each row can show the recommendation it comes from — it is folded under Why this interval, so you can see where the idea came from.
What it does not do
Decide when you need one. The guideline says the interval depends on risk factors, and risk factors are a clinician's judgement, not an app's. So the app offers the intervals the guideline names, you pick, and the reminder counts from your own date.
It also never says a check-up is overdue or that you are at risk of anything.
Dates from your own results
For glucose and lipids, the app can take the date from a lab result you already entered — the newest OGTT, fasting glucose or HbA1c, or the newest cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL or HDL. Blood pressure has no such source, because the app has nowhere to record blood pressure; that date is yours to enter.
A check-up with no date
Reminds about nothing. An empty date never means “not done” — it means the app does not know, and it says so instead of guessing.
