Trying to conceive
A mode you switch on in Settings, for the specific case of collecting facts for a referral. It is off by default and the app never suggests it.
What it adds
- Home test readings Plus — LH, PdG and basal temperature, each in the unit your device prints. The app stores the number as the reader gave it and converts nothing, because a reader's number means what that reader says it means.
- Protocol — a free-text record per cycle: the medicine and days, a scan, a trigger, a procedure. Everything optional; a cycle with only “letrozole 5 mg” in it is a useful record.
What it counts
Two facts, and only these: how many months since you said you started, and how many completed cycles hold no confirmation in your log.
That second sentence is what a referral asks for, and the app is careful about its wording: “no confirmation logged” is a statement about your log, not about your body.
What it never does
- No fertile window, no best days, no advice on when to try.
- No prediction of anything.
- No reading of yours is interpreted. The screen does describe your own log — “LH readings are logged; no confirmation is” — but it never says what a number means.
The app carries a line saying it is not for contraception — on the welcome screen, twice in Settings, on How we count, in the glossary, on Just diagnosed, under the guideline band on Cycle lengths, and in short form at the foot of every summary PDF. The Care screen has its own footer saying the app does not diagnose and works out no doses.
In the summary
With the mode on, the summary carries those referral facts as a short block. It is free — they are your own facts.
